DJ Moshe' Jenkins

also known as, The Spin Therapist is a West Philadelphia native and professional dj with years of experience in mixing music and performance. Influenced by H.I.P. - H.O.P. (Higher Infinite Power - Healing Our People) culture, the 2nd "H" in the acronym, "Healing", is his passion. a graduate of lincoln university of pennsylvania with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology The Spin Therapist has over a decade of knowledge as a mental health/behavioral therapist serving children and families by targeting anxiety, depression and trauma - including adverse childhood experiences. During the earlier part of his career he began to introduce the idea of using music during sessions by bringing a small DJ setup and utilizing it as a reward to reduce stress. since then music has become a integral part of therapy sessions.

The Spin Therapist curated a program called “Music, Mind, and Mixing” which explores the techniques of deejaying and turntablism while also identifying and exploring the many therapeutic benefits that music and deejaying has on the mind/brain and body. The “Music, Mind, and Mixing” program has engaged thousands of young people from grades K-12.

The Spin Therapist facilitates “Therapeutic Mixing Sessions” for individuals and groups. Therapeutic mixing sessions provide a safe environment for self expression, enhanced mood, social engagement, and instruction, while offering hands-on access to state of the art DJ equipment.

The Spin Therapist has worked as an audio engineer, producer, and sound technician for stage-plays, concerts, recitals, and other events.
